Privacy Policy
Last updated: September 1, 2026
Summary
- The original audio never leaves your device. Transcription happens on the device, and recordings are not sent to any server.
- What is sent to a server is only the transcribed text you choose to upload and your sign-in identifier (email).
- Transcripts are stored on a server operated by the company using the app. Second Team (seeso) does not retain their contents.
- When used personally, notes stay on this device only and are not sent anywhere unless you send them yourself.
- We do not track you for advertising or analytics, and we do not sell data to third parties.
Two ways to use this app
Eumme can be used in two ways, and where your data goes depends on which one you use.
| Mode | Sign-in | Where notes are stored |
|---|---|---|
| Personal | Sign in with Apple | On this device only. Nothing is sent anywhere unless you send it yourself. |
| Company | Work email or Google account | A server operated by your company |
In personal mode, the information received from Sign in with Apple (user identifier, name, email) is stored only on this device and is not sent to any server, including Second Team's. If you use Apple's Hide My Email, your real address is never given to the app.
Information we collect
| Item | Purpose | Where it is stored |
|---|---|---|
| Email address | Sign-in and locating your company's server | Your company's server |
| Transcribed text | Creating meeting notes | Your company's server (only if you choose to upload) |
| Meeting title and duration | Listing meeting notes | Your company's server |
| Error diagnostics | Diagnosing recordings that ended abnormally | Your company's server |
What we do not collect: Audio recordings, location, contacts, unique device identifiers, advertising identifiers.
About error diagnostics: sent once on the next launch, and only when a recording ended abnormally. It contains recording start and stop times, state changes, the app version, the device model name (e.g. iPhone 17 Pro) and OS version. It never includes meeting content, titles or audio, and nothing is sent when the app worked normally. Personal mode sends nothing.
How audio is handled
Eumme uses on-device speech recognition (Whisper). Recording and transcription both happen on your device, and audio files are never sent to any server. Recordings are kept only in the device's internal storage and are deleted when you delete them in the app.
Where data is stored
Eumme connects to a server that is separate for each company. When you sign in, your email domain is used to identify your company's server; only the domain string is passed to Second Team's server-lookup function. Your credentials and meeting notes do not travel through that path — they go directly to your company's server.
Uploaded notes are controlled by that company. Retention periods and access rights follow the company's own policy.
When used personally, there is no server involved. Recordings and transcripts exist only in the device's internal storage and disappear when the app is deleted. Nothing is synced between devices, so notes do not appear on your other devices.
Permissions
| Permission | Purpose | Required |
|---|---|---|
| Microphone | Recording meetings | Required |
| Notifications | Showing recording status | Optional |
| Face ID / Touch ID | Locking the app | Optional |
Account and data deletion
In the app, Settings → Account → Delete account erases the recordings and transcripts stored on this device and signs you out.
When used personally, nothing is stored on a server, so this action deletes all of your data completely. You can revoke the Apple sign-in connection in iOS Settings → your Apple Account → Sign-In & Security → Sign in with Apple.
When used with a company account, notes already uploaded are the company's property and cannot be deleted by an individual. Please ask your company's administrator to close the server account and remove notes.
Sharing with third parties
We do not sell collected information to third parties or provide it for advertising. If the meeting summary feature is used, the transcribed text may be sent to the AI provider configured by the company using the app (for example OpenAI or Google). The company chooses the provider, and audio files are not sent in this case either.
Notion you connect yourself: when used personally, if you enter your own Notion integration token and send a note, that note's transcribed text is sent to your Notion. The token is stored only on this device and does not pass through Second Team's servers. Sending happens only when you tap the button; nothing is synced automatically.
Exporting to other apps: you can export notes through the iOS share sheet to Google Drive, Files, Mail and other apps you choose. In this case Eumme only hands the file to the operating system, and you pick the destination at that moment. What happens afterwards follows that app's own privacy policy.
In both cases audio files are never sent — only the transcribed text.
Children's privacy
Eumme is a tool for work. It is not directed at children under 14, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.
